St. Pons is an exquisitely designed studio-location house in a glorious village in the Languedoc region of France. The sister studio of N5 Studios, a well-known film & food photography studio in London, the house blends modern touches with rustic charm and is ideally set up for lifestyle and kitchen shoots with plenty of natural daylight and authentic charm.

There are 6 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 12, and 5 bathrooms with 3 en-suite. The modern kitchen is purpose-built for food photography and there are 3 terraces and a heavenly pool, ideal for lifestyle photographers seeking a unique backdrop. Located on the edge of a calm and beautiful medieval village in the Languedoc, the studio is 30 mins away from a choice of airports and 15 mins from the Med.

St. Pons is available as a studio location rental and also hosts various courses and retreats to refine your food filming & photography skills. 

Events, Courses & Retreats

We are developing our programme of courses and retreats for 2024, including:

  • The Art of Noticing: Georgia Glynn Smith teaches you many ways to spark creativity, find inspiration, and discover joy in the everyday by simply noticing things that are around you. Georgia leads you by the hand for a personal approach to a positive being. Learning this art is great for personal growth and even better for boosting your creative business ideas. Ultimately a way to switch yourself back on in the new everyday world we find ourselves in.

  • The Art of Seeing: Georgia Glynn Smith teaches you the basics of photography, understand what makes a good image, and how to train your eye. Two elements: Photography courses: basics & Photography Course with iPhone tips and tricks.

  • Painting Retreat: Taught by the amazing Liz Goulding artist.  Painting tuition in oils or acrylics. Suitable for beginners and experienced painters. Produce a finished painting in oils or acrylics and a series of sketchbook studies.

  • Cooking and local food: The art of the simple plate. We visit the stunning Languedoc region in Southern France to enjoy the simple pleasures of fresh, delicious local food. Head to markets, and wine tours. Cooking demos.

  • Food for Photography: With a combination of Georgia and Karyn - a home economist to the stars for TV and stills. we teach you how it is done. The tricks and realities of shooting the most mouthwatering images.

  • Wellness Retreat: Pilates, yoga, painting, cooking, and wellbeing tours. A four-night retreat including tours of the area, markets, and wineries.
